Dr. Dixson said that accepting the rate cuts enables Smiles’ patients to remain in-network and to keep their out-of-pocket costs low. While the cuts will impact Smiles’ revenues, he told the Columbian that Smiles Dental will focus on cutting dental lab expenses and other ways to continue to provide affordable, quality dental care to all of its patients.
