Jeromy R. Dixson, DMD / President (Smiles Dental Longview)
Dr. Jeromy Dixson was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in Southwest Washington. He graduated from Mountain View High School in Vancouver. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Dixson enjoys most everything about the profession of dentistry, especially the transformation of a patient’s smile and self-esteem through the art and science of cosmetic dentistry. His patients have come to love his friendly demeanor and gentle style, which can make even the most anxious patient comfortable in his dental chair. He is focused on a consistently positive patient experience.
Dr. Dixson is also passionate about improving the oral health of individuals in our community who do not have regular access to quality dental care. He maintains memberships in the Clark County Dental Society, the Washington State Dental Association, the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Dental Group Practice.
Dr. Dixson and his wife Jocelyn have three young sons, Parker, Tyler and Luke. In his free time he enjoys family, weightlifting, reading non-fiction books, slow-pitch softball, golf, serving in his church and traveling.
Jared T. Doman, DMD (Smiles Dental Longview)
Dr. Jared Doman was born in Eastern Oregon and grew up in Central California. He became heavily involved in football, wrestling, and baseball, and was an Eagle Scout by age 13.
After high school, Dr. Doman spent two years in Brazil serving a church mission. He then attended BYU-Idaho and played football during his studies. In 2001, he was named an Academic All-American.
Dr. Doman graduated with Honors from OHSU School of Dentistry in 2007 and joined the Smiles team shortly thereafter. He loves the positive work environment and the interaction he has with his patients. His main goal every day is for his patients to know through his careful attention to detail that they benefit from his best efforts.
Dr. Doman is a member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Lower Columbia Dental Society. He still enjoys sports and outdoor activities such as fishing and camping. He has fun doing just about anything with his wife, Kim, whom together is raising their four beautiful children here in Southwest Washington.
Derrik P. Stark, DDS (Smiles Dental Longview & Ridgefield)
Dr. Derrik Stark was born and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho. Dr. Stark earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He then attended and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in Maryland.
Dr. Stark enjoys all aspects of dentistry and cares deeply for his patients. He loves the self-confidence and joy that comes when someone gains the smile they’ve always wanted. He understands that the dental chair can be a nervous experience for many. He feels it is important to take the time necessary to make every appointment a comfortable and wonderful experience.
Dr. Stark and his wife Jen have three children, Will, Jonathan, and Kate. His hobbies include outdoor activities, basketball, golf, and reading. Dr. Stark and his family love the Pacific Northwest and feel lucky to call Washington their home.
Sarah S. Barber, DDS (Smiles Dental Vancouver)
Dr. Sarah Barber was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and later received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis.
Before attending dental school and earning her DDS from Creighton University, Dr. Barber worked as a pre-school teacher at a private elementary school. Her interest and patience with children has carried over into her practice of dentistry as well.
Dr. Barber enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has a particular interest in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Barber believes communication with patients is the key to successful dental treatment. She understands that some patients are frightened to visit the dentist.
Her goal is to make all of her patients comfortable and make each visit a pleasant experience. Dr. Barber looks forward each day to providing five star care to all of her patients.
Dr. Kurt S. Tingey, DMD (Smiles Dental Hazel Dell)
Dr. Kurt S. Tingey was born in Provo, Utah and has lived in various locations throughout the United States, including Laie, Hawaii, St. George, Utah, and Washington, D.C., before finally settling in Pocatello, Idaho. In high school he participated in football, basketball, and track and field. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. After high school, Dr. Tingey served an LDS Church mission to Recife, Brazil, speaking the Portuguese language.
Dr. Tingey attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for two years participating in football, prior to transferring to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he received his bachelors degree. Dr. Tingey attended dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he received his DMD. Upon graduation he worked in Las Vegas prior to moving to the Northwest. In the time that Dr. Tingey has lived in Washington, he has grown to love the people and natural beauty of the state.
Dr. Tingey enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He finds great satisfaction in working together with patients to provide treatment that will improve their oral health, self confidence and self-esteem. Dr. Tingey enjoys building great relationships with patients and instilling confidence in them that each visit will be a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Dr. Jason Peacock, DMD (Smiles Dental Tumwater)
Dr. Peacock was born in Ogden Utah and grew up near Salt Lake City. Dr. Peacock earned a bachelors degree from the University of Utah and went on to Baylor in Dallas Texas for his dental degree. Finding a passion for advanced techniques and materials in dentistry as well as wanting to provide the very best to his patients, Dr. Peacock went on to earn an advanced three year degree in prosthodontics at The Ohio State University.
Dr. Peacock is passionate about dentistry and what it can do to improve not only patients health but their confidence and self-esteem as well. In addition to his attention to detail and working to provide the very best to his patients Dr. Peacock focuses on listening to each of his patients so that their concerns are addressed first.
Dr. Peacock lives in Olympia with his wife and four children, three boys and one girl who has him wrapped around her finger. He and his family enjoy all outdoor activities including hiking, camping, biking, and exploring the amazing northwest. He and his wife love to go on dates and explore unique dining opportunities.
Dr. Timothy Dolby, DMD (Smiles Dental Tumwater)
Dr. Tim Dolby was born and raised in Hoquiam Washington. He graduated from Grays Harbor Community College and attended University of Washington, Oregon State University and later graduated from Portland State University with a master’s degree in microbiology. He received his Docor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from OHSU school of Dentistry. He’s resided and has practiced dentistry in Tumwater since 1976.
Dr Dolby believes that a person’s smile is the window to their soul. Creating smiles for patients brings a song to his heart and feeling of accomplishment. Being a part of their physical and emotional transformation is a blessing for him and his patients. This is something he does every day.
Dr Dolby’s compassion for the underprivileged has taken him and his dentistry from the Barrio’s of Mexico to being the primary force behind the Olympia Union Gospel Mission’s three chair clinic. He received the WSDA’s Citizen of the Year Award and was honored with the ADA’s access Recognition Award (2005.) He also received the ADA Foundation E. Bud Tarrson Access to Oral Health Care Award 2006, recognizing his exceptional leadership and inspiration in gaining access to care at the grassroots level.
Dr Dolby and his wife Jean have two kids and three grandchildren. He enjoys golf, reading, vacationing, and serving others. He truly believes it’s “having a heart of giving that really matters. Touching a life and restoring soul is what really counts.”
Timothy Harbolt, DMD (Smiles Dental Salem)
Dr. Harbolt is proud to be a native Oregonian. After he graduated from Beaverton High School, he went on to Oregon State University where he earned two Bachelor of Science degrees in Cellular Biology and Micro-Zoology. He received his DMD degree form Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon in 1991. After graduation, Dr. Harbolt held a one year fellowship at the dental school in advanced studies in Oral Surgery and Endodontics (Root Canals). After this, he spent 6 months providing dentistry to underprivileged patients in a Welfare Dental Clinic, before he came to Salem in 1993. Dr. Harbolt has been serving private patients in the Salem area ever since.
Dr. Harbolt attributes his success to Heidi, his bride of the fifteen-plus years. They reside on a farm just outside of Albany, Oregon where they enjoy the company of Quarter Horses, Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats and Border Collies. When he can spare time from dentistry, Tim loves the outdoors (especially fishing) and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Harbolt is Past-President of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry and has studied to achieve a Fellowship level. He is the founder, Past President and current Secretary/Treasurer of the Oregon Coalition for Minimally Invasive Dentistry and is a Charter Member of the Rendezvous Master Minds of Dentistry and also holds as Associate Fellowship with the World Laser Institute.
He lectures internationally on advanced dental technologies and minimally invasive dental treatment options. Dr. Harbolt takes, on average, five times more continuing dental education than is required by law to maintain his dental license. He is currently working his way through the Kois Continuum so that he may become a Mentor at the prestigious Kois Center for Dental Excellence.
Dr. Harbolt says that he’s done all of this so that he may fulfill his personal and professional goals to provide his patients an uncompromised level of service, value and quality based on the principals of preventative and minimally invasive dentistry.
